BIOFIT® Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
At Biofit, we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Biofit ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or shop at getbiofit.com (the "Site"), or otherwise get in touch with us (together, the "Services"). "You" and "your" means you, whether you're a customer, a website visitor or anyone else whose information we've collected.
Please read this policy carefully. By using the Services, you agree to us collecting, using and sharing your information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services. If you have any questions, email us at team@biofitclothing.com.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, update the "Last updated" date and take any other steps required by law.
What personal information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use our Site and Services. "Personal information" means any information that identifies you, relates to you or can be linked to you.
Information you give us directly
- Contact details, such as your name, address, phone number and email.
- Order information, such as your billing and shipping address, payment confirmation, email address and phone number.
- Account information, such as your username, password and security questions.
- Shopping information, such as the items you view, add to your cart or add to your wishlist.
- Customer support information, such as anything you choose to include when you contact us, including photos you send for a return, size swap or guarantee claim.
Some features need certain information to work. You can choose not to provide it, but you may then be unable to use those features.
Information we collect through cookies
We automatically collect some information about how you use the Services ("Usage Data") using cookies, pixels and similar technologies ("Cookies"). This can include device and browser information, information about your network connection, your IP address and how you interact with the Site and your account.
Information we receive from third parties
We may receive information about you from vendors and service providers who collect it on our behalf, such as:
- Companies that support our Site and Services, such as Shopify.
- Our payment processors, who collect payment information (for example, card details and billing address) to process your payment and fulfil your order.
- Advertising, analytics and email partners, who may collect information using Cookies and similar technologies when you visit our Site, open or click our emails, or interact with our ads.
We treat any information we receive from third parties in line with this policy. We're not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by third parties, or for their own policies and practices.
How we use your personal information
- To provide our products and Services, including processing payments, fulfilling and shipping orders, sending order and account updates, managing your account, handling returns, size swaps, refunds and guarantee claims, and letting you post reviews.
- For marketing and advertising, such as sending you emails or text messages about our products and offers, and showing you ads on our Site and other websites that are more relevant to you. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
- For security and fraud prevention, to detect, investigate and act on possible fraudulent, illegal or harmful activity. If you have an account, please keep your login details safe and contact us straight away if you think your account has been compromised.
- To communicate with you and provide customer support, and to improve our Services.
- To meet our legal obligations, enforce our terms and protect our rights, our customers and others.
Cookies
Like most websites, we use Cookies to run and improve our Site, remember your preferences, understand how people use the Services, and measure our marketing. We also allow trusted third parties and service providers to use Cookies on our Site to tailor products, content and advertising to you, on our Site and elsewhere. For information about the Cookies Shopify uses to power our store, see https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies.
Most browsers accept Cookies by default, but you can remove or block them in your browser settings, and where available you can manage your choices through our cookie banner. Blocking Cookies may stop some parts of the Site from working properly, and may not completely stop information being shared with our advertising partners.
How we share personal information
We may share your personal information with third parties for legitimate purposes, including:
- Vendors and service providers who work on our behalf, such as for IT and hosting, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, email and text marketing, cloud storage, fulfilment and shipping.
- Business and marketing partners, including Shopify and advertising platforms, to provide our Services and show you ads. They use your information in line with their own privacy notices.
- When you ask us to or agree to it, for example to ship your order or when you use social media features.
- Within our group of companies, to run our business.
- For legal and business reasons, such as a merger, sale or restructuring of our business, to comply with the law (for example, responding to a court order), to enforce our terms, or to protect our Services, our rights and the rights of others.
We don't sell your personal information for money, and we don't use sensitive personal information to infer things about you.
Reviews and user content
If you post a product review or other content in a public area of the Services, anyone will be able to see it. We can't control what others do with information you make public, so please think before you share.
Third-party websites and links
Our Site may link to websites and platforms run by others, such as social media. We're not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies before sharing information with them. A link doesn't mean we endorse that website.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information to us through insecure channels.
We keep your information only for as long as we need it, for example to manage your account, provide the Services, meet our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies.
Our Services aren't intended for children, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has shared their information with us, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights. They aren't absolute and may only apply in certain circumstances.
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correction: ask us to correct information that's wrong.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your information.
- Portability: ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to transfer it to another company.
- Restriction and objection: ask us to stop or limit how we use your information, including for direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
- Appeal: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.
To use any of these rights, email team@biofitclothing.com. We may need to verify your identity first. You can also ask someone to make a request on your behalf, as long as they can show you've authorised them. We'll never treat you differently for using your rights, and we'll respond within the time required by law.
Marketing preferences: you can unsubscribe from our emails or texts at any time using the link or instructions in the message. We may still send you messages about your orders or account.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first and we'll do our best to put it right. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).
International users
We and our service providers may store and process your personal information outside the country where you live, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal information out of the UK or Europe, we rely on recognised safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK equivalent, unless the destination country has been recognised as providing adequate protection.
